Short answer is NO. IBM has consistently kept PL/S a deep dark trade secret, even though we all know about its existence. The Rand think-tank folk reverse-engineered an early version of PL/S and wrote a compiler for it in PL/1 back in the 1970's and even offered it (with source) on tape to anyone with $100, but IBM lawyers made them not only stop distributing it but also (so I heard) to retrieve every single tape copy distributed and destroy all of them. I still have a copy of the manual for that version, but I never had a copy of the tape. > This is what I found on Wikipedia: Reasonably accurate, AFAICT. Don't know about the claim about IEHMOVE, I never heard that one.
