I have applied maintenance for a processor upgrade. Some of the maintenance involved updating the OMVS ROOT HFS.
Today, I began the ACCEPT of this maintenance. When I checked the output from the ACCEPT CHECK, I noticed that the OMVS ROOT HFS file was not allocated. I found this strange, as there was a number of PTFs that modified this HFS file. I have queried the SMP/E manuals, the IBM-Main archives and Google but I could not find a reference to this subject. Is USS maintenance not ACCEPT eligible? I find this odd.
