Well, I don't know about gil (Paul), but I've come to prefer mixed case. But I really like that COBOL, Assembler, and PL/I are simply case insensitive. [Unless you're processing XML files, which need to be case sensitive, then COBOL and PL/I are aware of the distinctions.] I'm with Ed J. on this one.
