After I was unable to install, as some PREREQ were missing etc etc , I
asked the IBM to help, and they provided a list
with some tool , which contained only the really necessary PREREQ's

Not a clue what "tool" you're talking about, nor is it clear what portal
you're using for ordering PTFs, although I suspect SRD.
However, you can avoid this issue entirely by using either SMP/E RECEIVE
ORDER, or ShopzSeries with a software inventory file (bitmap). The
bitmap file is produced using program GIMXSID. This file describes the
FMID and PTF content of your target and global zones. For ShopzSeries,
you run GIMXSID, upload the file and ShopzSeries uses it to determine
the PTFs you already have and which pre-reqs you need delivered.
RECEIVE ORDER does this automatically. Therefore, you never get your
requested PTF without also getting the necessary pre-reqs.
