Hi John, is this statment true? APPC & ASCH address spaces still going to be available in z/os 1.9 or not? IBM is NOT dropping support for APPC. It is dropping support for the sample "APPC Application Suite" that used to be shipped with VTAM: A3270, AFTP, etc. As far as I know, the APPC and ASCH address spaces, and the various APPC and CPI-C tools and APIs are still going to be available.
