Hi Everyone, I hope someone's out there tonight, we have an HSM situation that I need some help on. First off we are not very experienced with HSM. We were recycling an HSM tape and the OCDS filled up. The recycle stopped with the following message. IEC070I 203-204,HSM,HSM,OFFCAT,4621,JCC005,HSM1.OCDS,HSM1.OCDS.DATA, IEC070I CATALOG.ICF.VJCC006 ARC0910E DFSMSHSM OCDS IS FULL. REORGANIZE CDS. 645 ARC0910E (CONT.) MIGRATION, BACKUP, DUMP, AND RECYCLE HELD. ARC0378I TTOC RECORD AND TAPE MEDIA CONTENTS ARE 646 ARC0378I (CONT.) INCONSISTENT ON TAPE VOLUME HSM006. ARC0421I MIGRATION VOLUME HSM006 IS NOW MARKED FULL ARC0421I MIGRATION VOLUME HSM006 IS NOW MARKED FULL Reading through the documentation it looks like we have to repair the tape with a AUDIT MEDIACONTROLS command and then RECYCLE FORCE. We also will need to compress the OCDS, I'm assuming first. Will this cause us to lose anything? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
