I would tend to agree, if an applications propgrammer doesn't know how to compile, link and run a program then I think they have chosen the wrong career path.
it's one thing to need to say here's the site specific compile proc you should really be using, but it's quite another to have source libraries allocated to ddnames where load libs should be, etc..
