I used PCOMM for many years, but never really liked it.  
Its settings are non-intuitive and it usually chooses the 
wrong ones for you.  
It can be very, very slow.  
It has a tendency to break in the middle of large transfers.  
 
Once I found Seagull FTP, I never willingly[1] went back.  
Its user interface is excellent.  It handles everything I've 
ever asked of it.  Large transfers are fast and reliable.  
It's free!  
 
[1]  You are at the mercy of whomever owns "FTP".  They 
have to PERMIT you access to that resource which, BTW, 
is in the OMVS segment, so you need one of those too.
