prove that the correct STORAGE GROUP is being flagged.  Is there a way of
showing it on the LISTCAT if not is there another utility that I can use?

A DFSMS Storage Group is assigned at the volume-level, not dataset, which is
why the LISTCAT command does not reveal this information, although LISTCAT
could be enhanced to call the documented interface to retrieve the
information. Therefore, if insistent, the STORAGE_GROUP question should be
considered a "DASD volume level" audit check-off item, rather than a
"dataset level" check-off item.
