Unless your application needs some maintenance window, not the z/OS. Or
your CPC needs some maint. window.
In such case it could happen that your sysplex can work fine, but the
application needs a break. Usually business needs some *service*
(application available), not perfectly working z/OS or sysplex.
In such case "pmPS" is not worth too much. Even "rich man PS" will no
give to much.
