DB/2 and companion address spaces. Not sure of order but  they seem to wait 
on each other as IRLM fires up then hands off to DSNMSTR and  it brings up the 
databases. RACF and Media manager need to be up and happy but  it seems to 
wait on them too. Haven't had a problem
with synchronization
 
VTAM/TCP: VTAM needs to be up before TCP applid can  activate. At different 
levels of VTAM/TCP and CICS have had problems when a  big switch was lost and 
CICS was trying to do recovery to
thousand of  sessions.
