(sorry if this is a dup.. I may have hit cancel instead of send last time).

Many companies block access to all web based email sites. My employer
does. They also block NNTP so I can't use a news reader (which would
be my preference if I could).

John, Why not monitor and post via the web archives? That is what I
do and have been doing since I started at my current employer. I also
had to do this when consulting depending on the net nannies at various
clients. Companies block out a lot more now than they did 6 yrs ago too.

You can use whatever email address you are subscribed as. I am subscribed
under my personal email address and my employer's address but prefer
to use my employer's address since I often get off-list emails during the
day (sometimes based on posts) and I don't have access to my personal
email from the office.
