Hello list,
I would like to ask your estimated opinion about the eligibility of CA products
for Subcapacity pricing model.
At the end of last year we had a meeting with two CA sales managers who
confirmed the above statement.
Ever since, we send to CA the SCRT Report via e-mail.
Searching the archives I also read more than once that CA products are
eligible for the Subcapacity model,
although I've neverread if only some products apply, or all.
A couple of days ago we received an e-mail from a third CA sales manager
telling us the opposite. That is,
our products (CA-Sort, CA-1, CA-Disk) do *not* apply to this pricing model.
("they belong to the 'infrastructure
management products' group, therefore are not eligible for 'Measured Workload
Pricing").
What leaves me without words is that something which appeared to be valid only
12 months ago seems
now completelychanged.
Is there anyone who can comment on this and tell his/her experience ?
TIA
