I use VB/255 for in-house stuff; 80 columns is like coding with mittens on. I have ISPF and my terminal emulator set up to display 132 columns.
I leave SYSEXEC at FB/80, then use ALTLIB and SYSUEXEC to access my VB/255 tool set. For anything that goes to customers, I convert to FB/80 so they don't have to deal with SYSEXEC concatenation issues.
