We have just upgraded to os 1.7 releases and having a problem with FTP. When we try to FTP from a 1.7 LPAR we are unable to login. When trying to FTP we can connect but when trying to use login and password we get error message LOGIN FAILED. Only thing we notice is when we connect to FTP we no longer get domain name. There are no error messages in our syslog or any other system log we have. We have one LPAR on z/os 1.4 and all works fine. We have compared FTPDATA parm between z/os 1.4 and z/os 1.7 and cannot find any differences. Was wondering if anyone had problems with FTP when they moved to z/OS 1.7 releases?
