Probably the same can be said about desktop PC's. No "wow".
My HDD (in PC) is approx 1000 times bigger than that i used 10 years
ago. A secretary uses much more MIPS, HDD, RAM than few years ago - but
it's still the same person with similar applications. No growth.
Saying about mainframe market growth when talking about MIPS increase is
simply unfair, it's kind of lie.
