Hi Gadi,

With CA-Disk , when you move, copy, or restore a dataset , you can specify
CREATE in your sysin DSCL.  That will preserve the original source create date
for you.

Hi,

We have CA-DISK. I tried looking VTOCUPD up in the manuals, and couldn't find
it.

Could that have removed it in R12?

Gadi,

If you have CA-DISK, it has the VTOCUPD utility, which lets you change
the creation date. I used it for exactly the same process as you are
doing now.
