Once a FORCE is issued, all bets are off as to the state of the ASID
(and system) afterwards. 

I would treat any abends seen after the intiial force as pure tourist
information.

The sort of collateral damage FORCE incurs includes :

(1) Corrupt system and/or asid control block chains due to recovery
routines not getting control to cleanup/remove objects.
(2) Outstanding locks for items such as XCF structures
(3) Corrupt datasets

I would not be surprised if the hang of the CICS region that is starting
is caused by (2).
