We recently converted from NCR channel attached printers to an IBM 6500 using PSF over IP. We have the same functionality with the jes commands, backspace, restart, etc. This is on zOS1.7 with PSF 3.4.0 FOR z/OS. The line mode migration utility is used also.
PSF's LINE MODE MIGRATION utility uses EXIT 8 (APSUX08) to signal PSF that it should read the customer's FCB from SYS1.IMAGELIB and create a PAGEDEF dynamically from the FCB information.
