OSE seems to be defined as non-OSD!

Here's your reference for OSA CHPID types:

Actually OSN is missing, the CHPID type used to support CCL pretending to be 
a channel-attached 3745.

You'll see that OSE allows SNA to be configured directly - mimicking a 3172, 
that is, in order to run SNA, you are not obliged to configure IP and use 
Enterprise Extender.
