Wow!  Tell us how you really feel.   

I couldn't disagree more.  I may have partially agreed 15 years ago, but a lot
has changed since then, so it wouldn't be fair to make a statement like that
in 2009. 

While the support from product to product can vary, I've had excellent 
support  [  world class :-)  ]  from many of the products I have
used at my current employer and others when I was consulting full time.  

The same would be true for any vendor with such a large portfolio of products.
I can name plenty of IBM (and BMC) products that we've had less than stellar 
support with also.  I only mention those 2 specifically, because they were 
the vendors of the software mentioned in the OP.
