My main problem with z/UNIX (which I now use to avoid the "USS is not the right acronym!" people) is simply that the bundled utilities (sed, awk, grep, ...) appear to do little more than what is demanded to be POSIX compliant. I use the GNU versions on Linux and the z/UNIX are pure junk compared to them. Of course, the others in my group still hate any mention of z/UNIX.
