David... you said: "after a few cycles you won't have any partial tapes" Cycles of WHAT? I have SETSYS PARTIALTAPE MARKFULL in my start-up parms, and I still have ML2 tapes which are not marked full, even after I migrate things to them and retrieve them several times.
