Yes, it is. If you are using any contemporary version of z/OS (and LLA
for linklist), then yes - you are using it.

Unfortunately, yes.
PDSE works, for us at least, especially well for a development linklib.
For production, the linklib is a straight PDS, unauthorized, in the
lnklst. It's updated only once per week, by quality control staff, and a
REFRESH LLA is then done.
IMHO much better idea is to use some version control tool like Serena
Changeman or CA Edeavor. It is not matter of load modules, lnklst and
LLA, it is more matter of quality of the code.
