No, you answered a different question. Can you log on to a TSO
foreground session using a long userid that is not defined in TDS but
only in a 3rd party LDAP server.

The organization only gets to decide withing the constraints imposed
by the software. If the organization wishes to have long user ids,
wishes to map them to short userids for those users authorized to use
TSO foreground and wishes to use a 3rd party LDAP server to hold the
definitions of those userids, does TSO LOGON support it?

You haven't proposed a solution to the problem of TSO LOGON using an
external LDAP server.
