Hello Esmie, GDG defined as NOEMPTY will ROLL-OFF the older members as you create +1 GDG members.
With the maximum number of members in a GDG set as 256, only the latest 256 memebrs are connected (ROLLIN) to the GDG BASE catalog entry. ALl others are cataloged by their explicit name, and cannot be accessed via GDG indirect (-nn) dataset name. Are you really sure you need to do what you doing.....?
