When I try what Brian is doing, I receive msgCBDG198 (which there is no help panel, have to find it in the KC): CBDG198I There is a mix of FCTC and non-FCTC control units on channel path proc_id.chpid. Control units: cu_number1, cu_number2 Explanation All control units on the same channel path without dynamic switch must be either all FCTC control units, or none of the control units must be an FCTC control unit.
