In addition to action taken by the data class ACS, it is possible for a data
class to be assigned via JCL (DATACLAS operand on the DD statement), the
corresponding operands of dynamic allocation, the DATACLAS operand on the
TSO ALLOCATE command, and the DATACLAS operand of the IDCAMS ALLOCATE/DEFINE
command. (See DFSMSdfp Storage Administration.)

It is also possible for the RACF resource owner of a dataset (specified in
the RESOWNER field of the DFP operand on the ADDSD command) to have a
default data class (specified in the DATACLASS field of the DFP operand of
the ADDUSER/ADDGROUP command). SMS will use this value if ACSDEFAULTS is
set to YES in the PARMLIB member IGDSMSxx.
