Just wondering, but has anyone tried attaching IDE disk Drives to the MP
3000? If so how well did it work?

Daniel,
I have performed this action on an Integrated Server, and my own P390.
I'm not sure how the Multiprise works, but you want to look for a
message or flowerbox on the screen that the disk array manager is coming
up. There should be an option like Ctrl-A or something to being up the
array manager setup software. Since you've already replaced the
defective drive, you've got to rebuild the array in the array manager
software.
Good luck,
