Untrue. You may not need an application code change in order for your
application to receive a PARM length greater than 100, but if you
coded for a maximum of 100, or a maximum of 256, then you need code
changes to obtain correct results.
Perhaps you meant that if application code changes were needed in
order to even see a length greater than 100 then there would be no
need ...
