Tom, A tape known to RMM must be in pending release to use EDGSPLCS S command. A tape not known to RMM(DV volser FORCE NOJECT) however should be able to be moved to SCRATCH with EDGSPLCS S command. Are you sure the volser is not defined to RMM, ie. no entry found from RMM LV volser ALL ?
