Similar to the facilities provided for Assembler STEPLIB. I suspect much of the accommodation was in access methods, not in HLASM.
Can a program object in a DSFS be used equally by shell as an executable and by JCL EXEC PGM=? Does it receive a UNIX-like argc, argv[], envp[] or a CALL R1 plist, or it depends? Where's the DSFS User's Guide to answer such questions? >________________________________________ >From: Paul Gilmartin >Sent: Saturday, January 13, 2024 1:57 PM > >But UNIX program objects are "really files".
