It's not so much a "concern" as an "opportunity".

I wish to use the "universal blocksize" (6233), and for load modules
that gets trimmed down to 6144.

If I use a 2314 then that is forced into 1 block per track, which
should make the TTR references very neat and calculations
easy.

The cylinder references won't be so neat though - but no worse
than anything else.
