I don't expect JCL to accept lower or mixed case. I use uppercase in JCL
with no pain.
However JCL keyword values (PATHNAME) are definitely case sensitive. The
same may apply o DD * content.
Unfortunately when you take some job as a template you may get CAPS ON
just because the template does not contain any lowercase. However when
you want to type only uppercase code (ie. JCL) then any lowercase in a
comment may switch off the CAPS ON and this "feature" won't help you.
