None. My recollection is that SWA above the line came in with MVS/SP V2
(MVS/XA) R2 - MVS/SP V3 (MVS/ESA) at the latest. Long before OS/390 and z/OS.

Subject: SWAREQ

External Message: Use Caution

A couple of questions:

1.  At which release of z/OS did IBM move the JCT above the 16M line and
initiate the use of SVA's?   We have a couple of installations at
earlier releases and we want to make sure that the SWAREQ macro won't  fail
there.

2. The macro IEFZB505 has two options for the keyword parameter LOCEPAX in
unauthorized mode:  "YES" and "VR2".  When should either be used?

Thanks,
Steff Gladstone
