That "it's not a real mainframe" thing put me off at first but then I realized 
that a zPDT is not a real mainframe either, right? It too is Z emulation under Linux.

Of course, the other question is why is mainframe hybrid cloud a great solution for IBM's 
customers but not for IBM? Isn't "Linux in the cloud is cheaper and easier than Z in 
the cloud" exactly what the mainframe marketing people are trying to fight?

That's what I mean.
1. zPDT emulation is still maintained, because cloud solution is based on that. So - why to stop selling it? 2. Cloud on x86 within IBM premises/cloud mean even IBM does not see a way to enable real Z hardware as a cloud solution. Shot in own foot.
