Hi Joseph, The following sequence works for me using assembler if the only thing I know is the DSN of the dataset to be deleted:
1. LOCATE (CAMLST NAME) - transferring the DSN and a work area for the LOCATE result 2. SCRATCH (CAMLST SCRATCH) - transferring the DSN and the work area filled by LOCATE If the dataset is not SMS managed it finally needs to be uncatalogued using the CATALOG macro: 3.
