We use CA-OPS/MVS to monitor messages to send SNMP traps to the SolarWinds Orion server. It then does "whatever", including sending email to a SMS gateway. We use CAGTS to write CA-7 "browse log" message to the z/OS SYSLOG, which is how CA-OPS/MVS picks up production job status information. It works fairly well.
