I don't have an issue with anyone using FOSS. Software that is - trusting confidential user/client data to companies subject to the draconian USA data seizure laws is lunacy. Even European hosting doesn't secure the backups on the US mainland. And yes I'm aware the the UK (and Aussie) governments are no better and certainly in cahoots with respect to things like Prism and XKeyscore.
