The transmission was interrupted from the sending side.  The sending side uses 
Outbound to send the mainframe file to a server.  Then a process is kicked off 
on the server by Outbound.  The process started by Outbound is not monitored, 
and in this case the transmission ended abnormally.  No way to know this unless 
I compared the byte count originally displayed by Outbound when it sent the 
file to the server against the byte count that TRSMAIN displays after the 
unterse.

Ok. Show us your dataset/files atrributes and your SFTP attempt and messages. I 
believe you need some FTP statements to prevent truncations/incorrect 
translations.
