Yup. It's been my experience that, once a sysplex is created, it's actually far easier to spin up a new member than to create a stand-alone image. We share master catalogs, PARMLIB, VTAMLST, etc. and make heavy use of &SYSCLONE and &SYSNAME system symbols for operational data sets (e.g., paging) where needed.
