I'm not sure about your 'store', but I can see you're working on bit by bit 
from left to right.

Perhaps you should grab a virtual copy of 'z/Architecture Principles of 
Operation'.

XL2 means 1 byte and length is to be made, so ITMLNG occupies two bytes.

As John Gilmore said, 12500 is smaller than +32767 and 65535, so I agree with 
him you can modify the ITMAP's length to 12500 bytes from 1250 bytes.

Oh, before I forget, I initially ignored your post because of useless subject
