Indeed and I have noticed. We have not any auto replies for just that reasons of yours. We rather SMS relevant persons where needed that a reply is outstanding. (because the operators all need eye glasses... ;-D ) We're also not really using AUTORxx much, because we may miss important things before our automation software is up and running when we IPL. Same goes for shutting down STCs. Sometimes a thing don't want to go down due to pending WTOR and the operators issue a 'C xyz' instead of 'R ??,whatever'. <rant on> I find it absolutely annoying that an operator replies with 'N' on IEF235D resulting that the job has to be rerun. I can't train them to let it run and wait. :-/ <rant off> Anyway, my curiousity question came from someone who wants to throw all autoreplies in one place for sysplex usage which is of course not recommended. Sorry, Steve Conway, for hijacking your thread, but you finally get my brain cells moving. ;-D Groete / Greetings Elardus Engelbrecht ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
