Then maybe I'm describing it incorrectly. The way we split the screen horizontally using the split command I want the screen split vertically. I remember the 3290 orange plasma display as I used one at Comcast Cable when I was running VM/VA and VSE. Each screen (4 in total) did a guest.
If memory serves, I used SPLITV instead of SPLIT to split the screen of a regular 3270 device. But I'll concede to the experts that say it's only used on 3290 devices... Are you certain?
