If you want a side-by-side display, an alternative to SPLITV is to use the ISPF Workstation Agent in GUI mode. Each 'split' gives you a totally new window that can be moved around on your PC screen. This means you could have 2 or more windows side-by-side, each showing a complete 3270 screen.
