Ah hah. Sorry about that. Every time I tried to get to the Integrated
3270 console from Firefox nothing happened. No messages, no anything.
Because I was in a hotel room I just assumed it was impossible, and went
with an OSA-ICC device.
Today is a good day — I learned something. The Java options in the
Windows control panel have to be set to prompt, and then you can allow
unsigned applications to run. So now I can get to the Integrated 3270
(SYSG) screen from Firefox. It's a bit disappointing that there I got
no message, not even that the applet was refused. I'll look into that.
Thank you Lutz.
regards, Tom

Maybe we use different terminology, Tom ?
What do you understand under 'HMC that is local to the CEC' ? Support Elements
(SE's) ?
I know SE's, local HMC's (located in our Datencenter) and Remote HMC's.
And via my Office Browser Session to local HMC I can use Internal 3270
Interface for every LPAR
of our CEC.
