Hope your shop doesn't go the way that mine did. Management did not
understand z/OS. They refused to learn. Basically, they tried to manage
z/OS using Windows philosophy. Luckily, we more or less "rephrased" their
requests internally. And, honestly, they didn't care so long as the cost
didn't go up and the system stayed stable. I would say more, but who knows
who is listening. And I am hoping to not be forced into early retirement
due to the lack of a job next year.
