There was a time when IBM published their software prices in a book that was rather thick and a bit smaller than an IBM manual, with a yellow cover. AFAIK, there is no equivalent any more, either in hard copy or online. I would very much like to get my hands on a copy, or see one uploaded to bitsavers, just for historical reasons. Alas, I had an opportunity to get a copy several years ago and I didn't take it. >Clearly there are tons of unknowns here .. nevertheless .. might it be a $ >practical situation worth pursuing IMO, yes, it would be practical >suggest where I start? The only option that I can think of is to ask your local IBM salesman or reseller. And, BTW, I wouldn't be looking at a 114, but a BC12. Wait a while, and there will presumably be a smaller z13 available. -- Tom Marchant ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
