What does it say under CAUSER?
 
Normally this is pilot error. Are you sure these PTFs are for the correct  
FMID? An APAR can be across FMIDs if it's common code. For PRE and SUP  
GROUPEXTEND should ferret out the trail. Oh, any usermods in this section that  
need to be rejected or redone? 
 
Guess you do APPLY S(fmidxx) REDO GROUPTEXTEND CHECK.

The function hasn't been accepted. I tried to reapply it but got  lots of 
"does not PRE or SUP"" messages.

I obviously haven't seen this  before, otherwise I wouldn't be asking  :)
