Hi, IMHO IBM should fix it as far as it's possible even though the sentence "it works as designed" could make us think there's no way.
I've ever thought such a command was "something of really simple" .... up to now. After you post I read with more attention the command scope and the expected output. I think z/OS must start a "long talk" with PR/SM in order to find out all the information needed and the talk seems to be as long as the amount of storage. If we now consider the processor peak msus on a z13-401 and that probably on the same hw there are more LPARs running, it could make sense. If what you need is only "know how much central storage is online" you can use TASID command or read one of the control block I'm pretty sure contains the information. Best regards.
